About Kelly

When I was in elementary school, I wanted to learn the basics of painting with acrylics after admiring paintings by my aunt and grandmother, who seemed to effortlessly depict scenes of wildflowers and forests in Northern Maine. Since then I've been been sketching, painting, and doodling on anything I can find, and have always loved making handmade gifts to surprise my friends and family.

I currently work mostly with pen and watercolor, or draw digitally on my iPad, and am inspired by the travel, nature, and social justice movements. I share my work and process via @kellymartindesigns on Instagram and Facebook.

By day, I'm a UX and Product Designer, designing digital solutions in the education space, with a passion for designing for social impact and change. I currently live in Boston, MA and when I'm not designing, I'm running, making ice cream, or traveling the world. Starting a small business is a new adventure for me so I appreciate you for being here and supporting my work.
